̽»¨´óÉñ® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.

The LaunchDarkly Connector retrieves user information from the LaunchDarkly API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

Prerequisites

• You need a LaunchDarkly account with access to create API keys.

Considerations

• Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour. 

Configuring LaunchDarkly

1. Log in to LaunchDarkly.
2. In the left menu, go to Settings.
3. Go to Security > Authorization.
4. Under Access Tokens, click Create Token.
5. Enter a Name for the API token.
6. Select the Reader role and the latest API version.
7. Click Save Token.
8. Copy and save the API token.

Configuring ̽»¨´óÉñ

1. Log in to the .
2. Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management.
3. In SaaS Management settings, go to the Connector tab and select + Add Connector.
   

4. Click the LaunchDarkly connector.
5. Enter the following information:
   1. The Connector name.
   2. The API Token copied from LaunchDarkly.
6. Click Connect and then Save Connector.
7. You will now see LaunchDarkly in your list of Connectors.

Uninstall/Remove

• On the Connector’s detail page, click on Delete Connector and follow the prompts.

• To revoke the permissions granted to ̽»¨´óÉñ, delete the API token in LaunchDarkly.
