̽»¨´óÉñ® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.
The Sentry Connector retrieves user information from the Sentry API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associations to keep data accurate and up-to-date.
Prerequisites
- You must be a Sentry organization manager or owner to create Custom Integrations and tokens.
Considerations
- Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.
Configuring Sentry
- Log in to Sentry.
- In the left menu, go to Settings.
- Under Organization, click General Settings.
- Copy and save your Organization ID to use with ̽»¨´óÉñ.
- Under Developer Settings, go to Custom Integrations.
- Click Create Integration and click Next.
- Enter an integration name.
- Under Permissions, add required permissions for the integration.
- Click Save Changes.
- Under Tokens, click New Token and copy and save the token to use with ̽»¨´óÉñ.
Configuring ̽»¨´óÉñ
- Log in to the .
- Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management.
- In SaaS Management settings, go to the Connector tab and select + Add Connector.
- Click the Sentry connector.
- Enter the following information:
- The Connector name.
- The Organization ID and the Token copied from Sentry in the previous section.
- Click Connect and then Save Connector.
- You will now see Sentry in your list of Connectors.
If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.
Uninstall/Remove
- On the Connector’s detail page, click on Delete Connector and follow the prompts.
- To revoke the permissions granted to ̽»¨´óÉñ, delete the Custom Integration in Sentry.
