̽»¨´óÉñ® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.
The SonarCloud Connector retrieves user information from the SonarCloud API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users to keep data accurate and up-to-date.
Prerequisites
- You need a SonarCloud account with access to create API keys.
Considerations
- Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.
Configuring SonarCloud
- Log in to SonarCloud.
- Go to My Account > Security.
- Enter a Name for the API token and click Generate.
- Copy and save the API token.
For security reasons, you'll only see the API token once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.
- Go to My Account > Organizations.
- Copy and save the SonarCloud organization key.
Configuring ̽»¨´óÉñ
- Log in to the .
- Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management.
- In SaaS Management settings, go to the Connector tab and select + Add Connector.
- Click the SonarCloud connector.
- Enter the following information:
- The Connector name.
- The API Token and Organization Key copied from SonarCloud.
- Click Connect and then Save Connector.
- You will now see SonarCloud in your list of Connectors.
If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.
Uninstall/Remove
- On the Connector’s detail page, click on Delete Connector and follow the prompts.
- To revoke the permissions granted to ̽»¨´óÉñ, delete the API token in SonarCloud.
